Dewey Decimal System Day

December 10, 1851 was the birth of a person that would change the entire system of how books are organized in libraries.  Clearly Mr. Decimal loved books and there had to be a better way of finding information other than by randomly leafing through the pages of a random book.  He devised a system that he named after himself, the Dewey Decimal System.  I worked in a library for some time and became quite proficient in finding any book on any topic.  Thanks to Mr. Decimal and his fascination with books. Today is Dewey Decimal System Day in honour his work and the man himself.
